The Technician Shop

A Note to Potential Sponsors

The Technician Shop is in its infancy.  Like a proud parent, I can feel this baby graduating from Harvard University and taking on the world.  I feel this so strongly, it’s so embedded in my DNA, that my grandchildren can feel it (and I don’t have any grandchildren).

There is going to be a special place for those sponsors who buy into the Harvard story now.  Not every sponsor however, is going to get in.  The Technician Shop is not a widget story, it is a revolution.  I am in search of sponsors who value and respect the dignity of the trades.  I am in search of sponsors who truly want to make a difference and elevate the nobility of the trades and the esteem, education and professionalism of its workers.

Would I ask a friend to purchase a ten ton marque and place it in their front yard with a sign on it that read, I sponsored Dave’s child to attend Harvard University – while the child is still in the crib?  No.  Would I ask a friend to help nurture and develop my child in preparation for Harvard?  You bet.

Yes, raising a child takes a village.  But when that young person is ready to go out and take on the world, who do you suppose will be most proud?

Contact me at thetechnicianshop at gmail dot com if you’d like to be part of this revolution.
