About
Welcome to The Technician Shop,
You are a craftsman, an artist. You work with your hands and your mind to help make the world a better place for others. To progress in your trade and to develop a meaningful career, you need to be continuously learning. You’ll find a ton of information on the technical side of your craft. And most companies that you work for will educate you on how to sell more of their products and service. But what you will not find much of is help for you, the person who helps others.
At The Technician Shop we care about you. We care about your health. We care about your mind. We care about your ability to find meaning in both work and life. And we care about your relationships with family, friends, employers, coworkers and business associates.
Others are out there trying to help you too, like your manager. Your manager is a very busy person however, who has a ton of things on his* plate and is responsible for your coworkers too. One of our goals here is to help your manager. Help you that is, to help him to help you.
We will offer tips, methods and resources for you to get the most out of your work, your career and your life.

*For clarity, we will refer to individuals as he, his or him. There is no entity on this planet that wishes for more women to enter professions where folks work with both their hands and their minds. As a matter of fact, it will be a point in which we devote time to in the near future!
